Nonviolent Crisis Prevention Intervention - Physicals Day 2 Training Course

FREE event for all county staff

Training Times

• September 2 (De-Escalation Interventions): 8:30am-3:00pm
• September 16 (Physical Interventions): 8:30am-12:00pm

Initial Training: This training is for staff new to NCPI or for staff whose NCPI certification has expired. Please note that you register for Day 1, you are also registering for the NCPI Safety Interventions (i.e. physicals). If you do not need physical training please reach out to Ana Duenez (aduenez@sbcselpa.org) and Alison Lindsey (alindsey@sbcselpa.org).

Note: You are only eligible to participate in NCPI Safety Interventions if you have ALREADY completed the NCPI Initial De-escalation training with the past month. If you have any questions, please email Alison Lindsey at alindsey@sbcselpa.org.

Physicals Training:

To be eligible to participate in the NCPI Safety Interventions (i.e. physicals) training, you need to have participated in the NCPI Initial De-escalation training within the past month. If this is not the case, you will need to register for a future NCPI Initial De-escalation training, then you will be eligible to register for a NCPI Safety Interventions training.
