Welcome to the SBC SELPA Community Advisory Committee

The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is a SBC SELPA committee that represents parents, educators, and community agencies and works to support the operation of the SBC SELPA Local Plan – the local requirements for ensuring a free appropriate public education (FAPE) for all individuals with exceptional needs in Santa Barbara County.

El CAC es un comité de SBC SELPA que representa a los padres, educadores y a las agencias comunitarias y trabaja para apoyar la operación del Plan Local de SBC SELPA Local Plan – los requisitos locales para asegurar una educación apropiada gratis (FAPE) para todos los individuos con necesidades especiales en el Condado de Santa Barbara. CAC meetings are currently being held in-person with a virtual option via Zoom until further notice.  Please contact Mariella Flores at mflores@sbcselpa.org for additional information.  Regularly, all meetings are open to the public and will be held at the Orcutt Technology Center, 500 Dyer St., Orcutt, CA beginning at 9:30 a.m. on the scheduled meeting date.
